Before seeing Mutant Mayhem, Matt and Dan are particularly interested in a word the franchise sometimes makes easy to overlook: teenage.

Dan compares the new designs with the much larger live-action versions, which remind him of linebackers. Cayla's off-camera reminder that they are mutated gives the exchange a playful counterpoint, but his preference remains clear. He wants the characters' age to feel present in more than pizza jokes.
