Movie Trivia: Knowing the Answer Is Only Half the Fun
Wyatt returns for a trivia episode, reconnecting the current show with its Maryland/Virginia Movie Club beginnings. Instead of reviewing a film, the group gets to test what has stuck from all those hours of watching.
Matt's questions give the game a personal edge. A Scream question is presented as something Wyatt should know, turning a multiple-choice answer into an affectionate challenge. Elsewhere, similar movie associations threaten to send someone in the wrong direction.
The enjoyment comes as much from the reactions as the score. Confidence, hesitation, and the relief of recognizing an answer make a different kind of portrait of everyone's film interests.
It is an easy episode to play along with, provided you give yourself a moment to answer before the group does.
What film subject would your friends expect you to get right every time, and which apparently easy question would catch you out?
